Alex McCarthy is the Assistant Director of Business Administration of the Landegger Program in International Business Diplomacy. She manages the financial and administrative operations of the Landegger Program and the Wallenberg International Fellows Program. She also manages registration for all of IBD’s classes, serves as the department’s Human Resources contact, and manages the webpage. She previously managed the SFS-side of the now defunct Global Business Fellows Program. Prior to working for the IBD program, Alex worked as the Federal Relations Specialist for GU’s in-house lobbyist, advocating for Georgetown’s interests on Capitol Hill. She earned a BSFS and the IBD Honors Certificate from Georgetown University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, and playing with her cats.
