Alexandra McCarthy

Alex McCarthy is the Assistant Director of Business Administration for the Landegger Program in International Business Diplomacy (IBD). In this role, she oversees the financial and administrative operations of the Landegger Program, the Wallenberg International Fellows Program, and the Global Impact Pitch Competition. She also coordinates course scheduling and registration for all IBD classes and serves as the department’s primary Human Resources contact. Previously, Alex managed the SFS-side of the Global Business Fellows Program. Prior to joining the IBD team, she served as the Federal Relations Specialist for Georgetown’s Office of Federal Relations, advocating for university interests on Capitol Hill. Alex graduated from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service with a BSFS and the IBD Honors Certificate.
