Alex McCarthy is the Assistant Director of Business Administration of the Landegger Program in International Business Diplomacy. She manages the financial and administrative operations of the Landegger Program, the Wallenberg International Fellows Program, and the Global Impact Pitch Competition. She also manages registration for all of IBD’s classes, serves as the department’s Human Resources contact, and manages the webpage. She previously managed the SFS-side of the Global Business Fellows Program. Prior to working for the IBD program, Alex served as the Federal Relations Specialist for GU’s in-house lobbyist, helping to advocate for Georgetown’s interests on Capitol Hill. She earned a BSFS and the IBD Honors Certificate from Georgetown University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, and playing with her three cats.
