Mody Colloquium on Illicit Finance and Corruption

The Mody Colloquium at Georgetown University is an annual event hosted by the Landegger Program in International Business Diplomacy that brings together experts, policymakers, and scholars to examine global challenges related to illicit finance, corruption, and economic statecraft. Through keynote talks and panel discussions, the colloquium explores how financial systems, regulatory frameworks, and international actors shape issues such as money laundering and financial transparency. The International Economics Seminar series is organized by the Center for Business and Public Policy at the McDonough School of Business, the Economics Department, and the Walsh School of Foreign Service. Throughout the year, the IBD program hosts a number of industry-specific seminars and lectures focused on preparing for careers in different industries, skills development in various areas, and relevant global topics. The seminars and lectures are led by a variety of experts, including IBD alumni and professors, and vary year-to-year based on the interests of each honors certificate cohort.
